Job Summary
Maintenance & Facilities Manager – Luxury Game Lodge (Limpopo) Salary R20 000 – R24 000 per month (Live-in position) To manage the entire maintenance and facilities function of a luxury lodge, ensuring that all buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and grounds operate efficiently and meet high hospitality standards. The role directly supports guest satisfaction, safety, and operational continuity. Responsible for: -Managing all lodge maintenance, including buildings, guest areas, staff accommodation, and systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water, pumps, and irrigation. -Supervising the maintenance team and contractors, allocating tasks, managing rosters, and ensuring safety compliance. -Overseeing procurement, maintenance stores, supplier coordination, and budget control. -Ensuring compliance with OHS, fire safety, and environmental regulations, including inspections and risk assessments. -Maintaining lodge grounds and supporting guest experience by resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. Requirements: -Proven maintenance management experience (hospitality experience preferred). -Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. -Basic project management experience. -Valid driver’s license. -Ability to work flexible hours and be on call when required. -Strong leadership, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
