Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy – Pastry Chef Luxury Lodge – Lephalale, Limpopo We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join a professional kitchen team and take ownership of the pastry section. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining excellent standards of consistency, hygiene, and presentation. Requirements Relevant culinary qualification or professional pastry certification Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry-focused role Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and dessert presentation High attention to detail with a creative approach to pastry Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good organisational and time-management skills Advantageous Experience in high-volume or hospitality environments Knowledge of specialty cakes, artisanal breads, or plated desserts Previous leadership or supervisory experience Responsibilities Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionery items to a high standard Develop and update dessert menus in line with seasonal availability and company standards Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all pastry products Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards within the pastry kitchen Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage food costs effectively Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations Train and supervise junior kitchen staff where required Package on Offer R8;000 – R10,000 pm depending on experience Accommodation included Start date: ASAP
