SPA GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER (live-in)
5* LUXURY LODGE - Ladysmith (KZN) - South Africa
STARTING DATE: ASAP / February 2026
REPORTS to: Spa Manager
OPERATING HOURS:
- Monday - Sunday (Shifts apply)
- 09:00am - 18:00pm (may be adjusted based on occupancy / seasonal demands)
- Leave cycle - 21 days ON / 7 days OFF
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R9,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on desired experience & skill level)
- Shared accommodation with all amenities (house share)
- R1,200 Meal Allowance from canteen
- Staff transport from staff accommodation to lodge
- Medical Aid benefit allowance (company contribution)
- All additional benefits apply upon successfully completing probation period.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric (Grade 12) / Senior National Certificate
- SPA Reception experience of a luxury Hotel or Day Spa property - essential (Day Spa, Hotel Spa, Cruise Ship Spa or Lodge)
- Excellent command of English (speak & write)
- SPA Bookings system confident - you must be computer literate and able to navigate booking systems
- Highly presentable and beautifully groomed - polished and professional in appearance
- Confidence in speaking with guests from all nationalities - including UHNW and VIP / Celebrities
EXPERIENCE:
- Guest Relations employment experience in Luxury Day Spa / Resort or Hotel
- High-end, luxury hospitality experience (front-facing department)
- Knowledge & understanding of Spa industry & the lingo (describe treatments accordingly)
- Exceptional guest/patient relations
- Prior experience as a spa therapist is advantageous
- Prior experience working with UHNW clients
