Complete Time & Attendance for payroll
Supervise the work unit to achieve work unit objectives
Investigate and resolve manufacturing related problems and sub-standard performance
Set and adjust manufacturing/production machine conditions to produce quality finished product
Control the manufacturing process
Plan, Lead, Organise and Control resources in your department/s
Ensure optimal plant efficiencies to achieve demand output
Meet daily/weekly and monthly targets
Management of WIP on areas in accordance with max. a shift worth of work
Generate CIP ideas and drive this concept with your teams
Plant efficiency must be continually reviewed to ensure optimal usage of resources
Conduct the monthly stock take
Identify and process waste
Effectively manage minimal usage of raw materials, consumables and PPE
Anticipate and troubleshoot machine functioning
Monitor maintenance of manufacturing equipment, tooling and services
First-line maintenance should be handled by you and your teams
The next level up should be done between yourself, maintenance and external support (only if required with specialised skills)
Update the Shift Production results
Report on production and machinery downtime
Attending of relevant meetings
Ensure an enabling climate/culture
Effective and efficient communication to staff, peers and management
Supervise the team to achieve work unit objectives
