HR Officer Chamdor Krugersdorp
Our engineering client is looking for a HR Officer with 3-4 years’ experience with a HR Support role dealing with HR Relations and Payroll on SAGE 300. The HR Officer will support the HR department in implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, payroll SAGE and ensuring compliance with labor laws specific to South Africa.
Salary Market related – This is an EE/AA position only
Responsibilities
- Assisting the HR Manager with the full Payroll on SAGE 300 (a must have) for 300-400 staff (wages and Perms)
- Recruitment and Selection – Assist in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
- Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Ensure compliance with employment equity and other relevant legislation.
- Onboarding and Offboarding
- Employee Relations Support the HR Manager in handling employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Training and Development and assisting with Performance Management
- HR Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.
- Compliance and Legal
- Provide general HR support and advice to employees and management.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
Min requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the engineering or technical sector.
- Solid experience with SAGE 300 for staff up to 300-400 (wages and perms)
- Experience with South African labor laws and HR best practices.
- Knowledge of employment equity and B-BBEE regulations.
