About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Business Specialist to join their growing operations team based in Kempton Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end logistics process for complete machines, including importation, customs clearance, inventory management, SAP transactions, transport coordination and regulatory compliance. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong SAP experience and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics, supply chain or import/export administration
Experience working with SAP ERP systems
Sound understanding of customs clearance, freight forwarding and transportation processes
Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Valid driver's license
Advantageous
Experience within the construction, mining, industrial or heavy equipment industry
Knowledge of eNatis vehicle registration processes
Experience with LOA (Letter of Authority), LOE and product certification requirements
Experience working with shipping agents, freight forwarders and transport companies
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate customs clearance, transportation and delivery of complete machines throughout South Africa
Process procurement, goods receipts, goods issues, sales orders and inventory transactions within SAP
Create and maintain material master data and customer records within SAP
Coordinate the registration and certification of equipment, including LOA, LOE and eNatis documentation
Manage physical inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
Liaise with logistics service providers, freight forwarders and transport companies
Monitor logistics performance and implement cost control initiatives
Coordinate equipment deliveries to customers and dealerships
Ensure compliance with import, transport and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting
Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues promptly
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department
Perform additional operational and administrative duties as required
