About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an organised and customer-focused Key Account – Parts Distribution Centre (KA-PDC) Coordinator to support the efficient coordination of aftermarket parts distribution and key account operations.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field will be advantageous
Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, parts coordination, logistics, supply chain or warehouse administration
Experience working within the construction, mining, automotive, heavy equipment or industrial sectors will be advantageous
Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Valid driver's license
Advantageous
Experience coordinating aftermarket parts or warehouse operations
Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes
Experience supporting dealer networks or key account customers
Understanding of order fulfilment and distribution centre operations
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Coordination
Build and maintain strong relationships with key account customers and dealer networks
Serve as the primary point of contact for parts order enquiries and customer support
Coordinate customer requirements with internal departments to ensure service excellence
Monitor customer orders and provide regular updates on delivery status
Resolve customer queries and escalate issues where required
Parts Distribution Coordination
Coordinate the processing and fulfilment of parts orders
Liaise with warehouse, logistics and procurement teams to ensure stock availability
Monitor order accuracy, picking, packing and dispatch activities
Coordinate urgent and priority customer orders
Track deliveries and ensure on-time order fulfilment
Inventory & Administration
Assist with inventory control and stock monitoring
Maintain accurate order records and customer information
Process transactions within the ERP system
Prepare reports on order status, inventory and customer service performance
Support stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities
Operational Support
Coordinate communication between sales, aftersales, logistics and warehouse departments
Assist with planning and scheduling customer deliveries
Monitor key performance indicators relating to customer service and order fulfilment
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards
