Job Summary
Purpose of the role:
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the Software Engineering strategy and roadmap.
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing Software Engineering teams.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of Agile, DevSecOps, and modern software engineering methodologies.
- Oversee the development, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to deliver business objectives.
- Manage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic technology initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering leaders to strengthen leadership capability across the organisation.
- 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise Software Engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Experience with cloud-native application development using Azure and/or AWS.
- Proven expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile at Scale methodologies.
- Solid understanding of engineering governance, quality assurance, and software delivery standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and engage executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformation initiative
