Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is looking for a dynamic, energetic, innovative, strategic, and self-motivated
individual to work from their Johannesburg Office. The candidate must have a solid work ethic, be able to work under deadline, engage and collaborate with team members/management and be able to follow directions and respect department /
corporate policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Lead scrum teams: define product vision, roadmap, growth, and stakeholder communication.
- Analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals with internal/external contacts.
- Serve as product ambassador: share knowledge, answer questions, conduct demos and training.
- Research new feature requirements and tech specs, manage UX/UI process.
- Conceptualize, develop, and own components of the WTAX technology product roadmap (Salesforce, Microservices, etc.).
- Assess, manage, and prioritize the product backlog (Jira).
- Engage with business leaders/SMEs to translate business needs into technical plans.
- Manage internal/external development teams/partners for timely, quality delivery.
- Provide regular progress, risk, and bottleneck reports to the technology steering committee.
- Actively mitigate roadblocks to team success in releases/sprints.
- Run proofs of concept for new tools and technologies.
- Run design sessions with development teams to select optimal technical solutions.
- Nurture an Agile culture focused on continuous, rapid delivery of valuable software.
- Design, develop, and implement test plans; participate in UAT.
- Hand over and provide high-level support for deployed functionality.
- Run tech team daily standups and manage sprint planning.
- Develop detailed product feature specifications.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes.
- Assist with new feature rollouts and coordinate between business/tech units.
- Monitor emerging tools, technologies, and methods for potential WTax benefits.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, IT, Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong competency in business process design and analysis.
- Ability to understand and present the "big picture" and propose improvement solutions.
- Practical experience in business process design/re-engineering.
- Proven technology project management experience.
- Scrum/Agile training and practical experience (advantageous).
- Familiarity with modern cloud technology, SaaS products, and low-code platforms (advantageous).
- Working knowledge of IT systems fundamentals (e.g., databases, integration patterns) (advantageous).
- Experience configuring CRM/ERP systems, with Salesforce experience prioritized.
