Work Readiness Programme (REALISE) – Agriculture Sector

Transcend invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for an exciting 3-month Work Readiness Learnership Programme aimed at developing future professionals in the agricultural sector.

Programme Details

• Location: All 9 provinces
  

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be unemployed South African citizens, aged 18–35
  
• Identify as African male or female
  
• Be persons living with a disability (proof may be required)
  
• Have no previous work experience (not required)
  
• Meet the qualification requirements listed below
  

Duties & Responsibilities

Learners will be required to:

• Successfully complete all components of the Learnership Training Contract
  
• Attend all scheduled training sessions and complete competency assessments
  
• Compile and submit a complete Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Matric
  
• One of the following relevant agricultural or technical qualifications:
  
• BSc Agriculture / Agronomy
  
• BSc Plant Production
  
• N2 / N3 or National Certificate in Agriculture
  
• BSc Chemical / BSc Electrical
  
• Quality qualification / Agronomy
  
• BSc Agronomy (Trial Planting, Crop Spraying, Data Analysis)
  
• Production or Operations qualification
  
• Environmental, Health and Safety degree
  
• BCom or BSc with strong analytical and Excel skills
  
• Finance
  
• Accounting 
  
• Public Management N6
  
• ND:Public Management
  
• Electrical Engineering
  
• Mechanical Engineering 
  
• Chemical Engineering
