Job Summary
An upmarket coffee / restaurant brand with a number of outlets who seek to employ a candidate with outstanding stock management and control experience, specific requirements as below • Minimum 5 years' experience in stock control, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain administration. • At least 2 years in a senior stock control role. • Must have experience in • Hospitality groups • Restaurant chains • Coffee shop groups • Food and beverage operations• FMCG environments • Retail operations with high-volume stock movement • Experience within multi-site operations, in the overall management, control, reporting, and optimization of stock across multiple stores and operational sites, of food-stuff and perishables. • Managing inventory levels across all stores and central facilities. • Monitoring stock movements, variances, wastage, and shrinkage. • Conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts. • Investigating stock discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. • Managing supplier ordering processes and stock replenishment. • Producing detailed stock, cost, and variance reports. • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock valuation. • Supporting operational teams with stock planning and forecasting. • Managing stock transfers between sites. • Fluency in English • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting); Inventory Management Systems; GAAP Point of Sale (POS) system; Google Workspace; Pilot; Sage; Pastel; Power BI • Resident of Johannesburg, OWN CAR and Drivers licence Apply only if you have the specific experience outlined in the job listing!
