A premier catering company is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager to oversee a prestigious, high-volume corporate contract serving over 1,000 employees. Located near the airport, this role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains immaculate standards, and works side-by-side with their team to deliver consistent, top-tier service. What You Will Do: Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and work directly alongside a dedicated team of 6 to 10 staff members. Maintain Excellence: Take full ownership of daily operations, ensuring strict hygiene standards, flawless quality control, and consistent product delivery. Drive Efficiency: Manage strict operational and financial controls to ensure the unit runs smoothly and profitably. Be Hands-On: This is a highly active role that requires you to be on your feet, leading from the front rather than sitting behind a desk. What We Are Looking For: Education: Matric and a relevant, formal catering qualification. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Catering Management role, specifically within industrial or high-volume corporate catering (serving 1,000+ employees). Current Status: You must currently hold a Catering Manager position at an upscale or high-end corporate unit. Skills: Strong leadership and organizational capabilities. While this is a management role and not a kitchen position, a culinary/chef background is highly advantageous. Logistics: Reliable own transport is essential due to the location.
