Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive for a leading hospitality group. This role is suited to a well-connected hospitality sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and growing revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts while nurturing existing relationships across the travel, corporate, and events sectors. Package • R30,000 CTC • Cell phone allowance: R500 per month • Laptop allowance: R650 per month • Fuel card: R3,000 per month • Medical Aid available as part of the CTC package • 5% mandatory provident fund contribution Key Responsibilities • Drive new business development across leisure, corporate, and group markets. • Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, PCOs, and production houses. • Conduct sales calls, presentations, workshops, and client meetings. • Promote the portfolio and identify opportunities to increase revenue. • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to conversion. • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and client database. • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback. • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions. • Travel regularly to meet clients and develop new business opportunities. • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. Requirements • Minimum 5 years' hospitality sales experience. • Previous experience with a hotel group, lodge collection, or hospitality portfolio. • Proven ability to secure new business and achieve sales targets. • Strong network within the travel trade, corporate market, PCO sector, or production industry advantageous. • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Strong relationship-building and client management abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Valid South African driver's licence. • Willingness to travel regularly and attend industry events.
