The Sales Administrator will provide essential administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring that sales processes run smoothly from opportunity through to contract and invoicing. This role is critical in enabling the sales team to focus on selling, while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong internal coordination across finance, legal, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Commercial Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
Prepare, manage, and maintain quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
Assist with tender responses, RFPs, and RFQs where required
Track sales opportunities and pipeline activity, ensuring information is up to date
Support contract administration, including documentation, renewals, and approvals
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent)
Generate sales reports, pipeline updates, and management dashboards
Ensure data integrity across customer, opportunity, and contract records
Cross-Functional Coordination
Liaise with finance on pricing, invoicing, and purchase orders
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on contracts and documentation
Support alignment between sales, delivery, and operational teams
Process & Compliance
Ensure sales processes adhere to company policies, governance, and compliance standards
Support audits by maintaining accurate and complete documentation
Identify opportunities to improve sales administration processes and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Support, or Commercial Support role
Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
Experience supporting sales teams in a corporate or enterprise environment
Good understanding of sales cycles, contracts, and commercial processes
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience advantageous)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different teams

Experience in ICT, technology, or consulting environments
Exposure to tenders, bids, and enterprise sales processes
Basic understanding of pricing models and invoicing
