Revenue Manager | Luxury Conservation & Safari Group | Johannesburg, Gauteng | SS Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng Property: Luxury Conservation & Safari Group Position: Live-In Salary: Market-related (DOE) About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Revenue Manager for a prestigious, conservation-driven luxury hospitality group based at Johannesburg. This is a senior commercial role reporting to the General Manager, with full ownership of pricing strategy, forecasting, inventory management, and distribution channel optimisation across multiple camps and guest experiences. Key Requirements • BCom degree in Finance, Informatics, Analytics, or a related field — essential. • Minimum 5 years' Revenue Management experience within luxury hospitality or hotel environments — essential. • Strong expertise in pricing, forecasting, and inventory control in high-ADR environments. • Advanced Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). • Proficiency with PMS / CRS / RMS systems (Opera, Protel, SynXis, TravelClick, IDeaS, Duetto, SiteMinder). • Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement seasonal pricing strategies, including BAR/LRA, fences, LOS controls, minimum stays, and packages. • Conduct displacement analysis for buyouts and high-value guest experiences. • Build 18-month demand forecasts by market, segment, and channel. • Manage inventory, restrictions, stop-sells, and peak period optimisation. • Lead and mentor the Reservations Team to drive service excellence and conversion. • Oversee channel mix strategy across direct, DMC/wholesale, consortia, GDS, and OTA. • Ensure rate parity and evaluate campaign ROI. • Maintain PMS / CRS / RMS accuracy and data integrity. • Lead weekly revenue meetings and monthly performance reporting. • Monitor market trends, competitor sets, air access, FX, and macroeconomic factors.
