Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join a prestigious conservation-driven luxury hospitality group based in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and highly analytical revenue professional to take ownership of pricing, forecasting, inventory and distribution strategy across a portfolio of luxury camps and guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising total revenue and profitability while protecting ADR, brand positioning and the overall distribution mix. This role requires the ability to translate commercial insights, market trends and performance data into effective revenue strategies. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement seasonal pricing strategies, including BAR/LRA, rate fences, length-of-stay controls, minimum stays and packages • Build and maintain 18-month demand forecasts by market, segment and channel • Manage inventory, restrictions, stop-sells and peak-period optimisation • Conduct displacement analysis for exclusive-use bookings, buyouts and high-value guest experiences • Oversee channel strategy across direct bookings, DMCs, wholesalers, consortia, GDS and OTAs • Monitor rate parity and evaluate the performance and return on investment of campaigns • Lead, mentor and support the Reservations Team to improve service standards and booking conversion • Ensure accuracy and data integrity across PMS, CRS and RMS platforms • Lead weekly revenue meetings and prepare monthly performance reports • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, air access, foreign exchange movements and wider economic factors • Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to support wider commercial objectives Requirements • BCom degree in Finance, Informatics, Analytics or a related field – essential • Minimum of five years’ Revenue Management experience within luxury hospitality or hotel environments – essential • Strong experience in pricing, forecasting and inventory management within high-ADR properties • Advanced Excel skills and experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar • Experience with PMS, CRS and RMS platforms such as Opera, Protel, SynXis, TravelClick, IDeaS, Duetto or SiteMinder • Excellent commercial acumen, analytical ability and attention to detail • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills The Opportunity • Join a purpose-driven organisation focused on conservation and sustainability • Gain exposure to a world-class luxury hospitality portfolio • Influence high-level pricing, distribution and revenue strategy • Competitive executive-level remuneration package
