How you'll role
As the Paid Search Specialist you will plan, develop, execute, track and report across paid search and Google Ads display campaigns, manage key media strategies across paid search, social and display channels, as well as effectively manage and optimise each channel and Google Ads display campaigns. You will need to possess a firm understanding of the primary online marketing channels: SEO, paid search, social platforms, content marketing, targeting, and retargeting. You should have working knowledge of the paid search platforms and implement campaigns and have the ability to work across multiple accounts on a daily basis, organise workflows and deliver on deadlines.
What you'll do
- Developing and implementing campaign plans and optimising to achieve key performance metrics by brand
- Work closely with all paid media partners: Google and affiliates
- Maximise performance across paid media channels through effective optimisation strategies
- Conduct regular keyword analysis and identify trends, data patterns and opportunities
- Ongoing audit of search, display and social channels for each brand and provide insights as to how ROI can be increased
- Provide accurate campaign performance reports and analysis on a daily/weekly and monthly basis
- Understand and manage creative campaigns to improve ad performance and quality CTRs
- Responsible for Google Ads budget allocation, planning and ROI reporting
- Work with designers or developers to optimise landing pages for optimum quality scores and create the branding of banners, etc. for key data capture
- Optimise paid media campaigns and conversion rates
- Implement recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with brand objectives
- Ensure evaluation and tracking to monitor campaigns and A/B testing setup and tracking is in place
- Contribute to campaign performance reports, using data to tell stories and provide actionable insights for team members as well as marketing managers and the wider digital team
What you'll need
- Relevant marketing degree
- Search Ads 360 / Google Ads Certified essential (GMP certification advantageous)
- Relevant marketing degree
- Essential experience:
- 3-5 years' digital marketing experience working in paid search, specifically within the Google ecosystem
- Experience in the financial services vertical and e-commerce
- Experience in running paid search performance campaigns within Google Ads
- Experience with the Google Marketing Platform - Search 360 and Campaign Manager
- Experience working in performance driven environments with large budgets
- Experience working in programmatic display
- Knowledge of:
- Google Ads platform

- Google Data Studio
- Advanced Microsoft Office
