The Role:
The Membership and Marketing Administrator is responsible for the Club’s marketing, communications, and membership function, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards and identity of Houghton Golf Club.
This is a multifaceted role requiring both creative and administrative capability, together with the ability to engage professionally with members and colleagues.
The position forms part of the Events structure of the Club and contributes to the broader delivery of the Club’s events portfolio.
Reporting & Integration:
The role reports directly to the Events Manager and works closely with the wider leadership team.
In addition to marketing and membership responsibilities, the successful candidate will:
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications:
Oversee all Club communications, including newsletters, the bi-annual magazine, promotional material, social media, and website content—ensuring consistency, quality, and professionalism at all times.
Membership Management:
Manage all membership enquiries and administration from initial enquiry through to onboarding, including conducting new member orientations and maintaining accurate records.
Collaboration:
Work closely with all departments to support Club initiatives, promote events, and ensure alignment between communication and operations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience within a private club, hospitality, or service-led environment will be advantageous.
