Role Overview: An exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to join a luxury property group in Johannesburg. This senior role requires a strong balance between strategic planning and operational execution, with responsibility for driving brand growth, lead generation, and revenue-focused marketing across multiple channels. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Marketing Strategy & Planning • Develop and implement annual marketing strategies aligned with business goals • Translate strategy into detailed quarterly and monthly marketing plans • Define KPIs, objectives, timelines, and budgets for all campaigns • Ensure alignment of marketing strategy across all departments ? Content & Multi-Channel Marketing • Manage digital and traditional marketing channels (social media, email, website, print, PR, direct mail) • Oversee content calendars and production schedules • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms • Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and creative partners ?️ Brand Management & Compliance • Act as brand guardian ensuring correct application of brand guidelines • Review and approve all marketing materials • Conduct regular brand audits and quality control checks • Provide brand training and guidance to internal teams ? Lead Generation & Revenue Growth • Develop and execute lead generation strategies focused on direct bookings • Manage SEO, SEM, paid social, display advertising, and email campaigns • Optimise conversion rates and lead nurturing programmes • Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to improve performance • Analyse customer behaviour and booking trends ? Cross-Departmental Alignment • Ensure marketing strategy is clearly understood and executed across teams • Work closely with department heads to align objectives • Provide marketing support across operations and sales functions • Ensure brand promise aligns with guest experience delivery ? Reporting & Performance Management • Track and report on marketing KPIs and campaign performance • Produce data-driven insights and recommendations • Monitor budgets and identify variances • Conduct post-campaign analysis and optimisation ? Team Leadership & Development • Manage, mentor, and develop marketing team members • Delegate workloads and oversee task execution • Conduct performance reviews and training • Assist in recruitment and onboarding • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture ? Requirements: • 7–10 years’ marketing experience (minimum 2 years senior level) • Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury property sectors advantageous • Proven track record in digital & traditional marketing • Strong experience in lead generation and revenue-focused marketing • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, PR, and print media • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure • Strong understanding of brand management and consistency ? Desirable: • Degree in Marketing / Communications / Business • CIM or digital marketing certifications • Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or property groups • Knowledge of revenue management and integrated marketing campaigns ?
