NOW HIRING: Learning & Capability Manager | Luxury Property Collection | Johannesburg, Gauteng About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Capability Manager for a prestigious luxury property collection based in Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a learning and development professional to drive organisational capability, skills development and employee growth across a dynamic hospitality group. Key Responsibilities • Lead the organisation's learning, skills development and capability strategy. • Manage WSP and ATR submissions and ensure Skills Development compliance. • Maintain relationships with SETA and QCTO while maximising funding opportunities. • Coordinate learnerships, internships and other skills development initiatives. • Identify learning needs and capability gaps across the business. • Design and implement learning programmes, onboarding initiatives and development pathways. • Manage external training providers and learning resources. • Drive leadership development, succession planning and employee growth initiatives. • Maintain organisational knowledge, policies, SOPs and learning resources. • Establish governance processes for document control and knowledge sharing. • Track and report on learning participation, compliance and programme effectiveness. • Develop dashboards and insights to continuously improve learning and capability initiatives. • Support managers and HR teams in evaluating training outcomes and development impact. Key Requirements • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Education, Industrial Psychology or a related field. • Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification advantageous. • Assessor and/or Moderator accreditation advantageous. • 4–6 years' experience in Learning & Development and Skills Development. • Proven experience managing WSP/ATR submissions and SETA engagement. • Strong understanding of Skills Development legislation and SETA processes. • Knowledge of B-BBEE Tourism Sector Codes, particularly the Skills Development element. • Experience working with CATHSSETA will be advantageous. • Understanding of NQF and SAQA guidelines. • Experience designing learning programmes and onboarding initiatives. • Hospitality or service industry experience will be highly advantageous. • Strong stakeholder management, communication and project coordination skills. • Excellent analytical, reporting and organisational abilities. • Passionate about developing people and building organisational capability. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused. • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment. • High levels of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
