Job Summary
An experienced General Manager Enterprise Architecture is required to provide enterprise architecture framework and roadmap for all information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems for current and future use across the organization in Johannesburg on a permanent basis.
Minimum Requirements:
- B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering/Business Administration/Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits
- Minimum 10 years extensive experience as an enterprise architect for IT and OT systems in a large and complex organization
- Knowledge of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) and Total Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks and building blocks
- Middleware business architectures
- Application Program Interface Designs (API)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps identifying and prioritizing strategic enterprise architecture initiatives driving business success
- Create and maintain IT/OT architecture roadmap reflecting organization's strategic designs and integration points
- Evaluate emerging IT and OT technology and drive innovation
- Develop strategies for integration of various IT and OT systems
- Map roadmaps for future IT and OT systems to be used in architecture roadmaps
- Establish and maintain architectural IT and OT frameworks
- Map roadmaps for IT and OT legacy decommissioning
- Conduct research identifying new and emerging technologies benefiting organization
- Monitor technology trends, industry developments and innovations to stay ahead
- Evaluate potential impact, benefits and risks of emerging technologies
- Conduct feasibility studies determining how new technologies can be integrated
- Create strategic roadmap for innovation aligned with organizational goals
- Promote culture of creativity and experimentation
- Lead change management efforts ensuring smooth adoption of innovative technologies
- Ensure integration strategy supports business long-term goals and operational requirements
