Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail FMCG sales, dealing with national and regional buyers at a senior level.
Strong background in key account management, preferably within the retail channel group.
Solid understanding of retail operations and fundamental business principles.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key relationships.
Willingness to travel nationally as required.
Highly skilled in communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a disciplined and structured manner.
Key Performance Areas:
Manage and grow national key accounts in the retail sector.
Build strong relationships with national and regional buyers and stakeholders at Distribution Centres.
Drive sales volume and achieve pricing targets across product categories.
Collaborate with regional teams and sales agents to improve market share and ensure effective merchandising.
Provide accurate input into forecasting, waste management, and supply chain planning.
Compile detailed weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.
Ensure consistent and proactive customer service excellence.
