We are seeking an experienced AWS Consultant to serve in a dual role as a strategic advisor and cloud Consultant for our enterprise clients. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS services, strong consulting skills and the ability to guide customers through cloud adoption, migration and modernization journeys. The ideal candidate will work closely with client stakeholders to define cloud strategies, design secure and scalable architectures and ensure successful implementation aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and technical teams on AWS cloud strategy architecture and best practices
  

• Lead cloud assessments, readiness evaluations and roadmap development for AWS adoption and optimization
  

• Design secure, scalable and cost-effective AWS architectures for new workloads, migrations and hybrid environments
  

• Provide technical leadership during cloud transformation initiatives including application modernization and replatforming
  

• Collaborate with DevOps, security and infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity
  

• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and performance tuning for AWS workloads
  

• Guide clients on governance, compliance and operational excellence in the AWS cloud
  

• Support business case development, TCO analysis and cloud cost optimization strategies
  

• Stay current with AWS service updates and emerging cloud technologies to inform client
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
  

• 12 years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years in AWS cloud architecture and consulting roles
  

• Strong understanding of AWS core services EC2 S3 VPC IAM RDS Lambda ECSEKS CloudFormation etc
  

• Experience with cloud migration modernisation strategies rehost replatform refactor and tools AWS Migration Hub DMS etc
  

• Familiarity with AWS best practices and methodologies such as WellArchitected Framework AWS CAF security best practices and compliance standards
  

• Working knowledge of software engineering and DevOps
  

• Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills
  

• Ability to engage and advise senior and executive leadership
  

• Experience of working in Banking or Financial Services or Insurance regulatory environments
