Job Overview
Cre8work Group is a leading labour solutions, TES, recruitment, and compliance business supporting multiple industries across South Africa. We manage complex payrolls for clients under various bargaining councils and need 3 reliable remote Payroll Administrators to help process and administer these payrolls accurately and compliantly.
This role suits experienced payroll professionals (or strong administrators) who have spare capacity and want flexible remote work using their own equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly/monthly payrolls accurately for workforces across MEIBC, MIBCO, NBCRFLI (Road Freight & Logistics), Security (PSIRA-related), Hospitality, and other councils.
Capture and verify employee data, hours, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions, terminations, and changes.
Handle statutory calculations and submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, EMP501, IRP5, COIDA, etc.).
Ensure full compliance with BCEA, LRA, COIDA, and relevant Main Agreements / bargaining council rules.
Reconcile payrolls, prepare reports, and manage third-party payments (medical aids, funds, unions, etc.).
Respond professionally to employee and client payroll queries.
Maintain accurate records and support audits/compliance processes.
Work with our systems (e.g., Accsys PeopleWare / QLink Payroll or similar).
Requirements
Proven payroll administration experience (2+ years preferred), ideally with exposure to the above bargaining councils.
Solid knowledge of South African payroll legislation, tax rules, and industry agreements (MEIBC/MIBCO/NBCRFLI etc.).
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with payroll software (Sage 300 People, Accsys, VIP, or equivalent).
Matric (Grade 12); payroll/HR/finance qualification or certificate is a strong advantage.
Reliable own laptop, stable internet connection, and quiet workspace for remote work.
High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to work independently with deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
