Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality, world-class, and engaging motion content across all digital channels.
Possess a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of design principles.
Produce versatile content (static, video, motion graphics, animation, etc.) aligned with brand CI across various properties — especially where no in-house motion designers are available.
Thrive under pressure, managing multiple deadlines with strong time management and multitasking skills.
Have a solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, content strategy, and social media standards and guidelines.
Apply advanced animation techniques including typography animation, character animation, transitions, and visual effects.
Work with and adapt to emerging AI platforms and tools for design, content creation, and workflow optimization. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to explore AI integration as part of the creative process.
Translate static creatives into dynamic, high-quality animations and motion graphics.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure colour accuracy and production quality in printed materials.
Create content for various formats including POS, OOH, social media, videos, GIFs, memes, and more — always adhering to brand guidelines and industry best practices.
Ensure all creative output complies with group or property CI, gaming regulations, social media policies, promotional rules, the Consumer Protection Act, and other applicable legislation.
Contribute to the execution of group and property campaigns, including:
Group-wide campaigns and special event creatives.
Social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and the company website.
Work with and report to the Group Digital Brand Manager and other Content Creators to ensure brand consistency.
Execute motion graphics across all pillars of the Group.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (NQF 4)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong numeracy skills (NQF 4)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Motion Designer role
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Canva
Familiarity with 3D and animation software (advantageous)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of digital marketing, content trends, and social media platform standards and guidelines
Creative mindset with a proactive approach
Ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
