Purpose of the job
Responsible for the sales process from inception to the execution of the order, including taking orders, answering questions relating to the order, receiving payment and executing the order.
Main tasks and responsibilities(not limited to);
· Provide technical assistance to customers and Truco employees
· Belting and accessories - application recommendations, substitutions and selections
· Working with pricelists, parts lists and codes
· Assisting telephonically with troubleshooting
· Provide quotes to customers timeously;
· Tender on quotes (Projects, Exports & Local),
· Liaise with the team to fully exploit an opportunities – margin levels, additional
· products/services, payment terms;
· Pay close attention to detail – quote validity, pricing levels, transport/freight costs and
· Incoterms;
· Monitoring of stock levels and feedback;
· Involvement in stock reorders based on demand trends ;
· Follow up on all orders – overseas and local;
· Using product codes and creation of new Pastel codes for improved efficiency;
· Integrating customer process to optimize interdependence within division and businesses
· (TSA,TKZN,TBRC);
· Ensure total participation and create synergy between diverse customer views and intentions;
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Open plan office environment.
· Interaction with all levels of personnel (from Shop floor to Warehouse and Management).
Matric/ Grade 12;
Bcom advantage;
Technical experience;
Computer MS Office proficiency;
Internal Sales experience;
3-5 years BMH experience;
