PBT Group is seeking an experienced BI Analyst / Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytical requirements into impactful, scalable Power BI dashboards and reports, while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements, KPIs, and decision-making needs
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and BI solutions
• Build strong professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels

BI Development & Data Analysis

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Analyse and interpret data to deliver meaningful insights aligned to business objectives
• Apply best-practice BI and data visualisation principles to ensure usability and performance

Quality Assurance & Governance

• Validate data accuracy and ensure reports meet business and technical standards
• Follow governance frameworks, standards, and best development practices
• Actively reduce technical debt and ensure solutions are scalable and sustainable

Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• Deliver well-operationalised BI solutions on time and to a high standard
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the developer community
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies

Collaboration & Professional Conduct

• Engage constructively in discussions, debates, and problem-solving
• Maintain a positive, ethical, and transparent approach
• Manage priorities effectively and take ownership of personal development

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a BI Analyst / Developer / Power BI Developer
• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions
• Hands-on experience designing and building Power BI dashboards and reports
• Strong data analysis and validation skills
• Experience working in structured, delivery-focused environments

Nice to Have

• Experience working within large or complex enterprise environments
• Exposure to governance frameworks and BI best practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
