Salary: Negotiable (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a luxury hospitality group based at their Support Office in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a people-focused HR professional with strong generalist expertise, payroll oversight experience, and a solid understanding of South African labour legislation within a multi-site hospitality environment. The successful candidate will act as a strategic HR partner to leadership while supporting operational HR delivery across multiple properties within the group. Requirements: ✔ Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology ✔ Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role ✔ Experience within a multi-site environment essential ✔ Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation ✔ Experience with payroll oversight, workforce data, and statutory reporting ✔ Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills ✔ Ability to manage confidential matters with discretion and professionalism Key Responsibilities: • Act as HR Business Partner for Support Office employees across the full employee lifecycle • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development • Support employee relations and performance management processes • Coach and guide leaders on effective people management and employee engagement • Support property HR teams with group HR standards and guidance • Oversee payroll coordination, workforce reporting, and HR data accuracy • Manage Employment Equity reporting and statutory submissions • Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, Employment Equity Act, POPIA, and internal policies • Support skills development tracking and reporting • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, reporting, and governance Candidate Profile: • Professional, detail-oriented HR leader • Strong balance of people-focused leadership and compliance expertise • Confident working in a dynamic, multi-site hospitality environment • Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills • Able to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
