Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in pricing, product development, and enhancement initiatives.
- Conduct rate reviews and repricing exercises to maintain technical soundness and market competitiveness.
- Assist in the assessment and implementation of new product offerings.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, IT, and product teams to develop effective insurance solutions.
- Develop and refine pricing models, tools, and actuarial processes.
- Monitor product profitability and provide data-driven business insights.
- Investigate pricing and portfolio performance variances, recommending corrective actions where required.
- Act as a technical advisor to both internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Associate Actuary qualification or good progress towards Associate level exams.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant actuarial experience.
- Experience in actuarial modelling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of insurance products, contracts, and industry legislation.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in SQL.
- Exposure to Python and/or R would be advantageous.
- Experience with data extraction and reporting would be beneficial.
