Job Summary
UOME, South Africa’s leading financial tracking platform, empowers individuals and institutions to manage loans, invoices, and stokvel contributions. We are hiring an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes. As a strategic partner to leadership, you’ll ensure HR initiatives align with organizational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities include developing HR strategies, managing recruitment and onboarding, overseeing employee relations and disciplinary procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, designing compensation and benefits systems, leading training and development, maintaining HR metrics, and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields; 5–7 years of HR experience (3+ in management); strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices; proven ability to manage HR functions in fast-paced environments. Preferred qualities include empathy, integrity, confidentiality, problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset.
