Job Summary

Join a leading hospitality establishment nestled in the scenic Southern Drakensberg, dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences in a tranquil setting. Our client, a respected resort known for its commitment to exceptional service and natural beauty, is seeking a seasoned Resort Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring excellence at every turn.

What You'll Do:

Oversee daily resort operations and maintain all facilities to the highest standards.
Ensure the effective and efficient maintenance and upkeep of the resort.
Build and sustain positive relationships with guests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Manage departmental budgets and handle financial and operational documentation.
Professionally address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Oversee online booking platforms and manage reservations across various periods.
Lead, motivate, and manage resort staff to deliver outstanding service.
Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Requirements:

Qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a hospitality team.
Strong customer service orientation.
Budget management and asset management capabilities.
Proficiency in stock control and operational management.
Excellent communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the hospitality industry.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment.
