Job Summary
Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive profitability. The successful candidate will lead and develop the restaurant team while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations (front and back of house) Lead; motivate, and manage restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest feedback professionally Control costs, budgets, stock levels, and wastage Monitor financial performance, including sales, margins, and labour costs Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and labour regulations Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards Work closely with kitchen management to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency Prepare reports and support business planning and forecasting Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar senior hospitality role Strong leadership and people management skills Solid understanding of restaurant financials, cost control, and KPIs Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Strong customer service orientation Qualifications (Advantageous) Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Management
