Wildlife Photography & Guiding

• Lead practical, photography-focused field activities for volunteers
  
• Provide hands-on instruction in camera operation, composition, lighting, and wildlife photography techniques
  
• Ensure participants capture high-quality, ethical wildlife images
  
• Guide and support volunteers in real-time shooting situations in the field
  

Teaching & Mentorship

• Deliver structured photography training to volunteers of varying skill levels
  
• Teach both technical and creative aspects of wildlife photography
  
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and portfolio development support
  
• Inspire confidence and growth in beginner to intermediate photographers
  

Programme Coordination

• Plan and manage daily and weekly photography activities
  
• Ensure smooth delivery of the photography programme
  
• Assist with volunteer onboarding and orientation related to photography
  

Content & Project Support

• Oversee the collection, organisation, and quality of photographic content
  
• Ensure images meet conservation, research, and storytelling objectives
  
• Maintain proper storage and management of all photography outputs
  

Administration & Communication

• Complete necessary reporting and administrative tasks
  
• Act as a key point of contact for photography-related activities
  
• Communicate updates, challenges, and successes to management
  

Requirements

Strong wildlife photography skills with a proven portfolio

Own professional camera equipment (DSLR or mirror less) and lenses

Proven ability to teach and mentor photography to others

Experience shooting in outdoor, wildlife, or conservation settings

Valid First Aid certification

Valid driver’s license (PDP or equivalent preferred)

Preferred Experience & Attributes

• Experience in guiding, conservation, or working in remote environments
  
• Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop)
  
• Strong understanding of ethical wildlife photography practices
  
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a remote setting
  
• Passion for conservation, storytelling, and visual education
