Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie for a luxury private game reserve in Hoedspruit. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef to work in a high-end bush environment, contributing to exceptional dining experiences for guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a designated section of the kitchen
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with set standards
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist in menu preparation and development
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and minimise wastage within the section
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained correctly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong culinary skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
