Our client, one of South Africa's premier luxury safari lodges, is seeking an exceptional young and vibrant Assistant Lodge Management Couple to join its leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality couple who thrive in delivering world-class guest experiences whilst living and working in an extraordinary wilderness environment.
Working alongside the Lodge Manager, the successful couple will assist in leading the day-to-day operation of the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational excellence and the highest standards across all departments.
This role is perfectly suited to hospitality professionals who combine outstanding people skills with a genuine passion for luxury safari hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Together, the successful couple will assist in:
Delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival through departure.
Supporting the overall day-to-day management of the lodge.
Leading, motivating and mentoring departmental teams through visible, hands-on leadership.
Maintaining exceptional standards throughout all guest-facing areas.
Assisting with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
Supporting operational planning, administration and reporting.
Managing guest requests promptly and professionally.
Resolving guest concerns with confidence, empathy and efficiency.
Building strong relationships with guests, travel partners and colleagues.
Driving service excellence and continuous operational improvement.
Maintaining luxury hospitality standards at all times.
Creating a positive working culture built around teamwork, accountability and excellence.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and professional couple who are passionate about luxury hospitality and guest service.
One Partner Should Ideally Have Experience In:

Minimum Requirements
The successful couple should possess:
Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge or five-star hospitality environment.
Outstanding guest service and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership and people management ability.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Computer literacy and experience using hospitality management systems.
Valid driver's licence preferably with PDP .
Practical maintenance knowledge will be advantageous.
Excellent presentation and professionalism.
A positive, proactive and hands-on attitude.
The ability to live and work successfully in a remote bush environment.
Remuneration & Benefits
Our client offers an attractive live-in package including:
Combined Couple Salary: R40,000 – R48,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
Live-in accommodation
All meals whilst on duty
Pension Fund
Staff lodge nights ( for visiting family)
21 days on / 7 days off work cycle
15 days annual leave
