Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrator & Activity Coordinator for a luxury safari camp in the Hoedspruit area. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across administration, guest coordination, and community project management, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic bush environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Community Project Coordination:
Plan, implement and monitor community-based projects
Morning Guest Activities:
Manage activity bookings, reservations, and payments
Oversee indemnity forms, wholesaler reconciliation, and facility upkeep
Ensure guest-facing areas and activities are professionally presented
Curio Shop:
Handle sales, stock levels, and inventory management
Volunteer Programme Management:
Oversee daily operations of the volunteer programmes
Provide support and coordination for volunteers on-site
General Responsibilities:
Coordinate photography and film crews
Provide information for fundraising applications
Host tours for current and prospective donors
Build donor relationships and deliver presentations
Capture photos and video content for fundraising/media purposes
Ensure health and safety compliance for staff and guests
Coordinate with peers to optimise company resource usage
Assist with sustainability and conservation projects
Oversee fleet and equipment care, including proactive maintenance and cleanliness
Administrative Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations
Assist in compiling and managing operational budgets
Issue purchase orders, manage approval sheets, and reconcile stock with invoices
Ensure compliance with insurance policies and procedures
Assist with payroll and HR administration including attendance tracking, leave management, and employee files
Manage staff and provide operational support where needed
Handle petty cash and control inventory
Requirements:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Previous experience in a hospitality or conservation environment preferred
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities
Confident in guest and stakeholder engagement
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s licence essential
