Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Logistics Co-ordinator Luxury Hospitality Group – Hillcrest – KwaZulu-Natal An established luxury hospitality group is seeking an organised and service-driven Logistics Co-Ordinator to join its Logistics Department in Hillcrest, Durban. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced hospitality or travel professional who enjoys coordinating detailed guest journeys and delivering accurate, responsive service. The position is responsible for arranging flights, airport transfers, inter-property transfers and occasional accommodation for individual guests and groups. The successful candidate will identify suitable routing, pricing and timing while maintaining accurate itineraries and communicating arrangements to guests, drivers, properties, suppliers and internal teams. Strong attention to detail, sound numerical ability and the confidence to manage last-minute travel disruptions are essential. The candidate must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and ensuring that every element of a guest’s journey is communicated and confirmed. Job Description & Requirements: Coordinate and book domestic and international flights, road transfers and occasional accommodation. Identify suitable routing, timing and pricing for guest travel arrangements. Arrange airport pickups, drop-offs, private transfers and inter-property transfers. Prepare accurate itineraries, booking confirmations and pickup instructions. Communicate travel details to guests, drivers, hosts, properties and internal departments. Process booking changes, amendments, cancellations and urgent travel requests. Monitor flight schedules and respond to delays, cancellations and disruptions. Liaise with airlines, travel agents, transport companies, hotels and car-hire providers. Maintain accurate booking, passenger, payment and supplier records. Three to five years’ experience in a similar position would be advantageous. Experience with tour operators, destination management companies, travel agents and suppliers. Excellent communication, numerical, computer and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and valid passport. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required. Office-based in Hillcrest, Durban, from Monday to Friday. Working days are Monday to Saturday, from 08h00 to 16h00, with hours open to discussion. Saturday duties may be performed remotely.
