Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Lodge Manager for a luxury lodge located within the Kruger National Park.
This is a live-in role suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a remote, high-end safari environment.
Role Overview
Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the lodge
Ensuring exceptional guest service standards at all times
Leading, training and motivating the lodge team
Overseeing departmental operations including front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guiding where applicable
Managing budgets, stock control, procurement and cost management
Maintaining lodge standards, maintenance coordination and health & safety compliance
Acting as the primary point of contact for guests and handling guest feedback professionally
Working closely with ownership and head office to achieve operational and service goals
Requirements
Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or Senior Lodge Management role within a luxury safari lodge environment
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
Financial acumen and experience managing lodge budgets
Ability to work under pressure in a remote setting
High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
