POSITION 1: RECEPTIONIST (LIVE‑OUT) Salary: From R7 000 ; higher DOE Work Cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off Uniform: Included Receptionist Role Overview The lodge seeks a well‑spoken, well‑presented, and friendly Receptionist with a professional approach to guest engagement. This front‑of‑house role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication ability, and the capacity to multi‑task in a busy hospitality setting. Receptionist Responsibilities: Manage guest check‑ins and check‑outs Handle bookings ; calls, emails, and walk‑in enquiries Maintain accurate reservation and admin records Assist with payments ; invoicing, and reception duties Keep the reception area organised, professional, and welcoming Coordinate with housekeeping, operations, and maintenance teams Receptionist Requirements: Previous hotel/lodge reception or front‑office experience (advantageous) Excellent multi‑tasking and organisational abilities Fluent in English ; additional languages are beneficial Professional communication and guest‑centric attitude Able to work well under pressure and remain calm Well‑presented and confident in guest‑facing interactions POSITION 2: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (LIVE‑OUT) Salary: Based on experience & qualifications Work Cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off Uniform: Provided Maintenance Role Overview The lodge requires a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Person with strong technical ability and hands‑on experience in general lodge maintenance. This role is best suited to a practical, safety‑conscious individual who takes pride in maintaining property standards. Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform general property repairs and upkeep Conduct electrical and plumbing maintenance Carry out preventative maintenance and safety checks Maintain lodge facilities, guest rooms, gardens, and equipment Assist with technical faults, pool care, and groundskeeping Respond quickly to internal maintenance requests Maintenance Requirements: Prior maintenance experience is essential Strong skills in plumbing; electrical work, and general repairs Ability to work independently, organise tasks, and follow schedules Practical problem‑solving mindset and physical fitness Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) Reliable; disciplined, and safety‑focused
