Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a junior field guide to join a small team at a Self Catering Lodge. We are looking for a young candidate new to the industry, newly qualified and a good team player.
Being a self-catering lodge with occasional catering for group bookings, conferences, tour groups, etc. Primarily local tourism.
Responsibilities
- Guiding
- Guest welcome, check-ins
- Lodge checks
- Bush clearing
- General maintenance (pools, vehicles, etc)
- Assisting in other departments when needed, (ie. Catered bookings, etc)
Requirements
Requirements:
- FGASA level 1 (NQF2) – membership up to date
- Snake handling
- First Aid
- PDP
- DEAT registered
The position is live in.
Shared accommodation provided (Own bedroom and Bathroom)
6 weeks on 2 weeks off,
no meals provided unfortunately.
