Our client specializes in steel and timber fixtures and fittings for the retail sector. With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, they are known for delivering high-quality, tailored solutions to top retail brands.
The Technical Drawing Department is the heartbeat of operations—transforming client ideas into precise, production-ready designs.
Products Designed & Manufactured
- Steel: Racks, rails, gondolas, pegs, bars, brackets, and custom fixtures
- Timber: POS counters, display plinths, retail units (cosmetics, jewellery, etc.)
Requirements
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical drawing role within a manufacturing or shopfitting environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks (2D & 3D).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to steel and timber.
- Experience creating CNC-ready programs and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawing & Design
- Translate client renders, concept sketches, and architectural drawings into detailed SolidWorks models (2D and 3D).
- Generate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cutting lists, and CNC programs for manufacturing.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team player with a proactive and responsible work ethic.
