Job Summary
Our client is looking for a skilled Petrol and Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established automotive service center in George. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality mechanical work in a dynamic workshop environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transport
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Mechanical trade test (Petrol or Diesel)
- Minimum 2-4 years' post trade test experience as a Qualified Diesel and Petrol Mechanic
Required skills:
- Knowledge of fuel systems, injection systems, and turbochargers
- Transmission, clutch, and gearbox maintenance
- Brake and suspension system repair
- Electrical system troubleshooting and repair
- Use of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients
- Safety awareness and compliance with workshop standards
Remuneration:
Salary is negotiable + 50% contribution to Provident Fund
