Role Overview The Breakfast Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting all breakfast menu items, overseeing buffet service, preparing food for tourism boat operations, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities ? Prepare hot and cold breakfast dishes, baked goods, à la carte options, and buffet items ? Manage breakfast buffet setup and food preparation for boat operations ? Supervise and train breakfast kitchen staff ?️ Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards ? Control stock, minimise waste, and ensure efficient kitchen operations ?️ Engage professionally with guests and handle dietary requests ✅ Requirements ? Culinary qualification or professional cooking certification (preferred) ?️ Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate – Level 2 or higher ?? 1–2 years’ experience as a Breakfast Chef, Line Cook, or similar role ? Proven experience in hotels, lodges, or upmarket hospitality establishments ? Candidate must reside in Gansbaai or be willing to relocate (own transport advantageous) ?
