Job Requirements • Reside in Gansbaai or be willing and able to relocate • Own transport advantageous • Culinary qualification or professional cooking certification preferred • Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate – Level 2 or higher • 1–2 years’ experience as a Breakfast Chef, Line Cook, or similar role • Experience in hotels, lodges, or upmarket hospitality establishments • Proven experience with buffet-style breakfast and high-volume breakfast service • Ability to manage and lead a small breakfast kitchen team • Strong breakfast cuisine knowledge and cooking skills Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook hot, cold, and à la carte breakfast dishes, freshly baked goods, buffet items, and breakfast boat menus • Set up and maintain daily breakfast buffet and package food for boat service • Supervise breakfast kitchen staff, allocate duties, and ensure smooth workflow • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; monitor stock levels and control food costs • Assist with menu adjustments according to guest volumes and preferences • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams • Engage with guests professionally and handle special dietary requests courteously Package on Offer: • R12 000 – R16 000pm depending on experience Start Date: ASAP
