Restaurant Manager – Luxury Wine Estate | Franschhoek Salary: R18,000 – R20,000 per month (Negotiable, Dependent on Experience) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth workflow. • Manage and lead restaurant staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. • Maintain high standards of food presentation, service, and hygiene throughout the restaurant. • Monitor inventory, stock levels, and control costs effectively. • Develop and implement service procedures and operational standards. • Ensure effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen, and management team. • Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. • Assist in menu planning and the implementation of specials and promotions. • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Requirements and Skills: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations. • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. • Strong organisational and time management abilities. • Professional, presentable, and guest-focused. • South African citizenship or valid work permit.
