Healing Retreat based close to Franschhoek is looking for a Holistic Healer to provide holistic wellness through treatments ; focusing on personalized client care ; creating a tranquil environment ; maintaining hygiene and recommending products ; requiring strong interpersonal skills ; knowledge of treatments and teamwork to ensure a restorative guest experience. Duties: Assess client needs, explain treatments, and tailor services for a personalized experience. Perform various therapies according to set standards. Prepare treatment rooms, maintain pristine cleanliness, and adhere to health/safety regulations. Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere, manage appointment schedules efficiently, and offer product recommendations. Understand spa products to effectively advise clients and upsell services. Work with other staff to offer holistic wellness and contribute to the spa's overall service. Requirements: Recognized Spa or Beauty Therapy Qualification. Previous experience in a luxury hospitality spa environment Knowledge of a range of wellness disciplines, including somatic therapies, and complementary medicine, reiki, Pilates, yoga and other therapies A keen interest in health & wellness Knowledge of products and protocols. Strong understanding of hygiene and safety procedures. Exceptional customer service skills in a high-end setting. Familiarity with in-room spa equipment and guest amenities. Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proactive; creative, and adaptable approach to guest needs. Loyal; committed, and flexible team player. Expertise in various spa techniques, knowledge of hygiene and product ingredients. Excellent communication, empathy, a caring attitude, and ability to build rapport. Strong time management, attention to detail, calm demeanour and ability to handle diverse personalities.
