Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager for a distinguished luxury wine estate situated in Franschhoek. This role requires a professional who is highly organised, standards-driven, and confident in supporting the management of a busy housekeeping department.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team
• Ensuring all rooms, public areas, and facilities are maintained to exceptional cleanliness standards
• Training, supervising, and guiding housekeeping staff
• Conducting regular inspections and quality checks
• Managing stock levels, linen control, and ordering cleaning supplies
• Supporting scheduling and staff planning
• Upholding health, hygiene, and safety regulations
• Assisting with administrative tasks and reporting where required
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within housekeeping
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
• Professional and presentable, with a strong customer service approach
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Franschhoek
