Our client in the food safety consulting and training industry is seeking to employ a Sales and Business Development Consultant to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

The successful candidate will be based in Port Elizabeth and will service clients from East London through to Mossel Bay.
RequirementsMarketing, Sales, Business or related Degree/Diploma.
Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, business development, client relationship management, or a related field.
Experience within the food industry will be highly advantageous.
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (essential).
Strong cold-calling, networking, and business development skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable working with CRM systems.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Commercially savvy with the ability to perform basic costing and prepare proposals.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight when visiting clients in Mossel Bay, East London, and surrounding areas.
ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, client visits, and follow-up activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Prepare quotations, proposals, service level agreements, and client presentations.
Compile and present monthly sales reports and assist with annual sales budget preparation.
Coordinate training interventions and consultant schedules to ensure excellent client service delivery.
Maintain accurate client records and sales activities within the CRM system.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer satisfaction surveys.
Participate in client meetings, project planning sessions, and monthly sales meetings.
Manage client enquiries received through various communication channels and ensure timely responses..
