Job Description:
Our client is looking for an IT Specialist who will be responsible for the IT department for all IT Technical infrastructure, Networks and Technical Assets
Education and Experience:
Matric/ Grade 12
Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
3 years’ experience in a similar role with automotive/ manufacturing experience
Working experience in ERP systems
Technical skills: VMWare, 365 office knowledge, Networking technology, WAN infrastructure, Microsoft windows, Anti-Virus Software, Access control and time attendance technology
Responsibilities:
Establish, monitor, and maintain server room, ensure hardware and network run well
Proactively address any operational issues in response to production demands to maintain uninterrupted production and on-time delivery
Support ERP system, maintain shopfloor devices, ensure the ERP system runs well
Monitor the data accuracy of ERP system and coordinate with other departments
Ensure compliance with the company’s IT Policy
Responsible for IT budget, procurement, and management of all IT fixed assets, including hardware and software
Install and configure Operating system and application as needed
Manage user accounts, computers, and servers through AD
Backup and restore user data and production data according to company specifications
Support the implementing of local or global IT projects and policies as required
Manage and maintain the CCTV and access control infrastructure
Troubleshooting, include system, network, hardware, user issues, printers, etc
Necessary training to end users, prepare the work instructions and manuals
Develop emergency procedure for IT systems and test on a regular base
Respond to callouts timeously
Other tasks as assigned
