The Subsidiary Security Manager is Manager is responsible to implement, audit and support procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations. This position works closely with local resources and worldwide stakeholders to fulfill requirements dictated by global, local and industry specific regulatory bodies (such as DPS - Denied Party Screening-, Aviation Security Programme –Europe-, TSA (US) and more – in alignment with globally standardized procedures. This role requires the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently, the ability to teach and lead by example, to work across organizational silos, logical thinking, a professional demeanor and strong contribution in a team environment are required for this position. Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 5+ years of experience in International Freight Forwarding
Ability to train and develop Branch and Department Managers, as well as end users
Excellent understanding of Security regulations, Processes, Rules and Procedures
Background in Risk Management is preferred
Be trained to Security Manager level in accordance with the local security programme where applicable
Technical/Software:
Must be comfortable with communication tools such as Skype, ZOOM, MS TEAMS and others
Excellent Cargowise application functionality knowledge
Excellent knowledge of oral and written English language. Ability to verbally communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as Business Cases, Project Plans, Business Requirements, User Guides, Training Manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar / pie graphs.
Teacher / educational or Trainer background is desirable
Strong Organizational skills – Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables.
Facilitation skills - emphasis on coordinating relationships with internal functions/groups; ability to solve issues by coordinating across cross-functional areas.
Sound judgment and the ability to work under time pressures.
International experience and previous exposure to other cultures would be highly desirable.
Able to manage outcomes to timeline.
Able to work with in a matrix reporting environment, build and maintain strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and management who will largely be based remotely.

Implements, trains and supports Security processes and procedures
Measures and monitors exceptions and potential risks
Acts as a central point of escalation locally
Prevents risk by working with local / regional regulatory bodies and organizations
Performs on site and remote compliance audits and communicates audit results including recommended corrective actions to local, regional and global stakeholders
Communicates, collaborates with and supports Global stakeholders in US Compliance, as well as WW Legal
Manages processes and outcome to achieve the organization’s risk objectives effectively and efficiently
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives Process Improvement through suggestions / ideas and change requests
Provides Support during and post Implementation Support; shares knowledge as Security Subject Matter Expert
Tests new Changes and Enhancements and provides impact analysis and strategic recommendations
Supports and collaborates with BPM/WW Compliance in testing new functionality, documenting and improving standard process documentation and training curriculum
